Kalahari Safari

The deserts of the Central Kalahari and Makgadikgadi are home to the native Bushman and are like nowhere else in Africa. The camps highlighted here make perfect add-ons to a safari in the Okavango Delta. With around 65 million years of history, this vast landscape is filled with intriguing sights including salt pans, palm islands, fossils, artifices and lots of wildlife at certain times of year.

Travelling by road and by water brings many rewards that cannot be experienced on a fly-in safari. This is the ultimate way to appreciate how the continent really works and to get under its skin! The safari provides an opportunity to enjoy the cultures and scenery of three diverse countries. Starting with one of the Seven Wonders of the World and ending in a true frontier town, this safari is packed with excitement and adventure.

Safari Routing

01 Transfer from Livingstone Airport (or Victoria Falls Airport) to Songwe Village. Afternoon boat cruise on the Zambezi River.

02 Transfer into Namibia. Lunch and an afternoon game drive or boat cruise.

03 Today will be filled with day and night game drives, walking safaris and perhaps a boat cruise.

04 Early morning activity. Transfer to Lianshulu. Lunch and an afternoon boat cruise.

05 After breakfast, depart by boat into Botswana to Lagoon Camp. After lunch, the following two days will be filled with day and night game drives, walking safaris and boat cruises.

07 Game drive transfer to Lebala Camp. After lunch, the following two days will be filled with day and night game drives and walking safaris.

09 Morning transfer to Kwara Camp viewing game en route. After lunch, the following two days will be filled with day and night game drives, walking safaris and mekoro trips.

11 Morning activity and continue by road to Maun for your onward arrangements.

Mobile Safaris
