Kenya
is blessed with a pleasant climate, palm-fringed beaches, white
snow-capped mountains and massive wilderness areas that are filled
with spectacular wildlife all year round.
Its history
dates back some 1.6 million years to a period when the Turkana
boy (Homo erectus) wandered through this region. However,
more recently, the country has been heavily influenced by migrants,
missionaries and explorers who ventured through this Dark
Continent in the 1800s. Combining this fascinating history,
some of the worlds best wildlife viewing and a population
with a wealth of fascinating tribal rituals, it is easy to see why
Kenya is recognised as the home of the modern-day safari.
The country boasts an infrastructure that is sophisticated and offers
a vast array of accommodation to suit every style, taste and budget.
