Shompole
Lodge
Shompole lies
on the edge of the Great Rift Valley overlooking sun-baked plains
and riverine forests, great creased volcanic mountains and lush
green wetlands. Its an imaginative creation in partnership
with the Maasai people of this area. Constructed to emphasise the
beauty of natural materials and graceful curves, it combines flowing
water and plunge pools, canvas, stone, smooth white walls and a
sense of natural open space wherever you look. The camp is truly
the most unusual and exquisite place in Kenya.
|
 |
|
Loisaba Lodge
Tucked away
in the far reaches of Laikipias rugged northern frontier,
Loisaba places an emphasis on the Mind, Body and Soul. The concept
encompasses the rich experience of staying in the wild that stimulates
every visitor, not only visually but also spiritually and emotionally.
With a vast tract of wilderness on its doorstep, local tribes that
live naturally and a stunning landscape, Loisaba truly offers guests
the opportunity to relax and allow their senses to awaken. Come
here for several days to enjoy the camel and horse-riding, mountain-biking,
kayaking, walking, star beds, spa centre (offering several
wraps), a swimming pool and tennis court. Then there is the food
and companionship.

Richards
Camp
Richards
Camp is a traditional tented camp that operates like a family home
in the bush. The camp oozes with character and charm, backed up
by an experienced team who will go that extra mile to accommodate
you. It is not luxurious but perfect for those seeking flexibility,
pampering and relaxation. The six en-suite tents are spacious and
there is even a Victorian bath tucked away in the forest. This is
romantic!
